General Policies on All Warranties

AAMCO warranties do not apply to failure caused by abuse to the vehicle, traffic accidents, or alterations performed by anyone, either the customer or another shop. Most are transferrable to other owners, but are considered void if a vehicle is converted from a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle.

AAMCO 90 Day Manual Transmission Warranty

An AAMCO 90-Day Manual Transmission Limited Warranty guarantees 90 days of trouble-free driving. You are warrantied completely against defective transmission materials and workmanship—parts and labor—on any transmission repair for the full extent of the warranty.

AAMCO 12-Month/12,000 Mile Automatic Transmission Warranty

An AAMCO 12-Month/12,000 Mile (20,000 Kilometer) Limited Warranty covers the transmission and torque converter against defective materials and workmanship for the full extent of the warranty.

AAMCO 36 Month/36,000 Mile Automatic Transmission Warranty

An AAMCO 36-Month/36,000 Mile (60,000 Kilometer) Limited Warranty covers the transmission and torque converter against defective materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

AAMCO Lifetime Coverage for Automatic Transmissions

An AAMCO Lifetime Service Agreement covers your transmission and torque converter against defective transmission materials and workmanship as long as you own your car. No matter how many miles you drive. The Lifetime Service Agreement is not transferable.
